Not-so fantastic news unfortunately! The government have pivoted on their plan for allowing indoor activitiy to resume, meaning that indoor group classes CANNOT resume from July 5th 2021.
The current government directive states:
Indoor activities, such as organised events, return of service in bars and restaurants, training, group exercise, dance | Will not proceed as planned, pending the implementation of a system to verify vaccination or immunity. Government will devise an implementation plan by 19 July |
We will continue to prioritise our client’s safety by abiding by this government directive. We will continue to offer our online services as well as individual training with supervision, as we wait for further clarification as to when indoor classes can resume.
Our training options from July 5th 2021 will now be:
- In-person private lessons (one-to-one)
- Individual Training With Supervision (limited to maximum 6 per session)
- Live online group classes via Zoom
- On-demand tutorials and lessons via our website
- Private lessons online via Zoom
Our revised timetable for July is available on our ‘Book Online’ page.
Please note that taught classes are NOT permitted at this time. While the directive is disappointing, there are fines for businesses and customers who do not obey these government directives. We are choosing to not put ourselves and our clients at risk. Thanks for your understanding on this point.
Current members! We have already contacted you with our new schedule, please read this email as it contains some very important information about the changes.
Are you a first-timer looking for beginner pole dancing classes? We are sadly not sure when we will be offering our ‘Introduction to Pole Dance’ course as we wait for clarification from the government. Please contact us and we will add you to our waiting list. Please be patient with us as we work to allocate a space for you as quickly as possible; remember that we are a small business doing everything that we can to keep our clients safe and happy under the extremely challenging circumstances of the pandemic.
Prospective new members: Please contact us and we will add you to our waiting list for classes when we do reopen, and please support us by joining our online classes in the meantime! We will be working with massively reduced capacity in order to comply with the government guidelines, as well as to allow time for decontamination before and after every class that takes place. We hope that you understand that our class capacity will be very limited whenever we do reopen, however we hope that this will quickly change and that we will have more spaces to offer in the near future.
We will be continuing online classes as well as adding new tutorials weekly to our online library to help everyone to continue progressing during this time of limited capacity.
We hope that we will be able to publish a definitive plan with our class schedule very soon, however we are waiting for further information and will continue to follow the public health advice in order to keep our members and our staff safe.
The pandemic is certainly far from over, all we can do is stay patient and continue to behave responsibly.
