Have you always dreamed of having longer legs? Well good news, the longer you hang out in a split, the longer your legs will become!
OK, so I might be bending the truth a little bit here 😉
Being more comfortable and more proficient with your hamstring flexibility and quad strength (especially in regards to your splits) will make your legs appear longer. Being only 150cm tall myself, I can vouch for this! Sure, I do wear 7 inch heels and that also helps, but having good active flexibility helps me to create the illusion of having legs that go on for days.
So today I’m going to show you an exercise that will help you to improve your active flexibility, and it also makes your legs appear longer! The ‘Over-Shoulder Split’ is an awesome floorwork pose but a really great way to work your splits and improve your quad strength (which also happens to be an area where lot of us women are lacking strength).
