Today I’d like to share another of my favourite juice recipes with you! This one is Fiery, with a capital F!
This juice is just perfect for giving you a bit of ‘get up and go’ especially if you need an energy boost or fire in your belly for a big day! I usually prepare this juice and drink it as a shot, but if I’ve got a big event, say a competition or something, I’ll make a large glass and drink it before showtime 😉 I had a big bottle of this with me backstage at ‘Miss Burlesque Ireland’!
You can play with the amounts of ginger, lime and apple that you add to this recipe. I love the taste of ginger and lime so I add a LOT!

Ginger, Lime & Apple Juice
Ingredients:
One large piece of ginger* (*you can add as much or as little ginger as you like, it’s personal preference)
3 apples
3 limes
(This will yield about 300ml of juice)
Directions:
- Peel the skin from the ginger and process this through the juicer first.
- Cut the apples and remove seeds, and process this through the juicer.
- Squeeze the juice from the limes and add to juice. I recommend using a standard citrus juicer for this.
- For best results store in an airtight container to reduce oxidation and consume within the day.
- Enjoy!
