Hey everyone!
Here is Part 2 of my ‘Shoulder Stand Tips & Tricks’ video tutorial! Hopefully you all got on well with last week’s floor based move; this week we will try this with the pole as a transition move.
As you know this a a pretty hot trick trick right now, I love to include it in my own floorwork and dancing! It can be tricky, and I see folks quite often getting it wrong, or making it more difficult than it has to be!
The aim of this tutorial is to help you master the move in a fluid, controlled and comfortable manner, so that you look and feel more elegant and graceful than a GAA player (like the one I talked about last week!) 😉 It can require a lot of practice, so be patient with yourself. I recommend using a yoga mat and stretching your neck and shoulders before and after practicing.
If you missed last week’s tutorial, you can revisit here. I recommend trying this one before trying with the pole as discussed in today’s video!
