Video Blog 41: Floor Pirouette (Part 1)

Hey everyone!

Here is a lovely little spin for you all to try out! Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student this floor pirouette is super achievable, looks like a million dollars and is useful in adding seamless movement to your dancing. What’s not to love??

As usual, this can be tricky to get right, hence this tutorial to help you avoid making commonly made mistakes! I’m all about making pole dancing (and life in general) as easy as possible 😉

The aim of this tutorial is to help you master the move in a fluid, controlled and comfortable manner. I do recommended wearing knee pads and socks (or even better, a nice pair of 6inch or 7inch heels!). Don’t worry if you struggle withe the fluidity initially; like every trick, this pirouette takes practice! Be sure to include it as part of your dancing and have fun adding it into your pole dance combos; you’ll start to feel the flow in no time!

If you’re still getting to grips with your regular pole dance pirouette, I recommend checking out my tutorial here to help you perfect that pirouette!
