IPDA is evolving!

online pole dancing classes ireland announcement

Hello IPDA Community,

I am writing this post to share some bittersweet but exciting news.

As you all know, I have been a very active member of the pole dance community, here in Ireland and internationally, since 2006. I set up this company at the end of 2010 with the vision of creating a beautiful studio space where I could teach classes.

Since then, IPDA has grown into a wonderful community and I am very proud of all that it has become.

Now, my time as a pole dance studio owner is coming to a natural end.

As of April 17th, I will be passing on the torch to my colleague Ella Lockhart who will rebrand the studio space as you know it to House Of Pole Dublin.

What this means is the studio will no longer be called Irish Pole Dance Academy. I will be ceasing all in-person services and continuing with my online lessons and tutorials only.

If you have a membership for in-person classes or an ‘Introduction to Pole Dance’ course booking with us, please check your email as I have already sent you details about how the new changes will affect this.

I also know that you will also be very excited to see Ella’s timetable of classes starting April 17th!

For your ease, here is Ella’s important information so that you can have a seamless transition from Irish Pole Dance Academy to House of Pole:

It has been an amazing 9 years of IPDA in its current format at DLight Studios. It’s time for me to move on to new adventures and I’d like to thank everyone who has been through the doors and for being a part of my community.

When I set up this company in 2010, I had dreamed that it would one day grow into the wonderful community that we have today. I’m very proud of what we have all achieved together; I hope you agree with me that the studio and its community is something special.

This doesn’t mean I’m retiring from pole dancing. I will still be seeing you around the pole dance community! I’ll still be teaching workshops, performing and judging competitions etc. And I’ll still be online creating new tutorials every month!

I have absolute confidence in Ella that she will not only maintain the lovely community that we now have, but she will continue to build it and nurture it under her own leadership. She inspires me with her integrity and vision and I am personally very excited to see all that she will create with this new venture.

Thank you so much again for your kindness and understanding, and for being a part of IPDA.

Le grá,
Arlene
